Back to Annual Conference Inviting your Pastor: If your pastor would like to know more about home education, invite him to attend the 2008 Conference with you. Full-time pastors and their wives (who do not currently home educate) are invited to attend the Conference as your guest, at no charge. There are several Conference workshops which they might have a particular interest in attending. Simply have your pastor fill out a paper Conference Registration Form AND write a request to attend the MACHE Conference as your guest using church letterhead. Mail both the Form and the letter to MACHE at: Pastor/Conference Registration, PO Box 32308, Fridley, MN 55432. In addition, on Thursday afternoon, April 17, 2008, MACHE will be presenting a special session for those pastors who want to know more about the homeschoolers they serve. This session is titled... "Friend or Foe: Understanding the Homeschooler in Your Congregation" ...and will be meeting from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the DECC. There is no charge for this session; but for planning purposes we need to know if your pastor will be attending.
