The Annual MACHE Conference, held in the spring of each year, draws over 5,000 participants who converge at some of the largest venues in the state to learn together from nationally recognized speakers. With well over 80 elective workshops and inspiring keynote addresses; and over 150 curricula and resource exhibitors, cottage industry vendors, and used book sellers—attendees have the opportunity to improve their teaching skills, find encouragement for themselves and their families, review and purchase homeschooling materials, fellowship with other homeschooling parents, and return home with renewed enthusiasm and vision. Each April, MACHE provides this important opportunity for the homeschooling community of Minnesota and surrounding states.
Annual Support Group Leaders Retreat during the fall, draws together support group leaders from throughout the state to be refreshed, updated and encouraged.
E-alerts, issued especially during the legislative session, to notify home educators of immediate needs for action.
Legislative Training Days are conducted each year to inform and update parents and students about the legislative process and issues.
A Home Educator's Biennial Event at the Capitol is provided every other year at the beginning of each biennial legislative session in order to give homeschool families the opportunity to celebrate home education, to learn first hand about how our government works, and to promote homeschooling and homeschool issues to legislators.
Some, but not all of these services are availble to the home education community at large, as a service of MACHE.
