The Ways of the Wizards Versus the Way of the Wise ManPresented by Bill Jack and Worldview Academy The wizards are everywhere in our culture today. They promise that if we follow their yellow brick road we can have it all—a brain, a heart and courage. The wizards even promise us a way home. However, “There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death” (Proverbs 14:12). These wizards include evolutionists, new-agers, atheists, and sincere followers of false religions. The wise man, on the other hand, knows the right path to follow and to Whom he should listen. Christians are to learn how to walk as wise men, “Making the most of our time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:15). Come join Worldview Academy's Bill Jack as he takes a walk on the “wise” side. You will learn how to distinguish between the ways of the wizards and the way of the Wiseman. You will learn how to destroy secular arguments “raised up against the knowledge of God” and learn how to “take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ” (II Corinthians 10:5). |

Teen Track InformationYou can find a thorough list of the Teen Track workshops by clicking on the "Speakers and Workshops" tab above, then clicking the "Read More" button beside Bill Jack's name. The TeenTrack is open to teens who are thirteen years old or older and whose parents are registered to attend the 2012 MÂCHÉ conference. Parents should indicate which of their children will attend the TeenTrack when they register for the MÂCHÉ conference. The six sessions will follow the regular conference schedule; teens will be dismissed to attend the Saturday Morning Keynote Session with their parents as well as to meet their parents for lunch both days. There is no extra charge to attend the TeenTrack, other than the student conference registration fee. There are a limited number of seats available, so registration will be available on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. When the room is full, registration for the TeenTrack will close. Registration begins on January 1, 2012. NOTE: Students should bring paper and pencil (pen) with them, as there are no handouts distributed to attendees. Certificates of attendance or completion will not be awarded to students. |
Summer Leadership Camp ScholarshipsAt Worldview Academy Leadership Camps, students are challenged to think hard about their faith and how it applies to the modern predicament. Here, students ages 13 and above are treated like real people who wrestle with real issues—and who need answers that match the real world. Each camp features twenty-six hours of lively class sessions and discussions guiding students to better understand servant leadership, apologetics, evangelism, and comparative worldviews. In June 2012, Worldview Academy Leadership Camp will return to Northwestern College. For more information, please call Worldview Academy at 800-241-1123. All MÂCHÉ attendees who register a teen for the 2012 Worldview Academy Leadership Camp during the MÂCHÉ conference will receive a $100 scholarship to attend the camp location of their choice. For more information, please visit the Worldview Academy booth in the exhibit hall. To receive your scholarship, please register your student during the MÂCHÉ conference. (This scholarship cannot be combined with any other discount.) |
