IDA SCUDDER (1870 - ?) Dr. Ids Sophia Scudder was the grand-daughter of the great missionary John Scudder. Ida's father enrolled her in D. L. Moody's school for girls in Northfield, Mass. It was there that she received her vision to be a medical missionary to India. Among her more notable achievements is the founding of the Medical Missionary College for Women.
