The Individual and Corporate Healing of Man

The 'fall' brought separation from God and problems with fellow man, with nature, knowledge, philosophy, arts and language. All men need healing. It isn't only that the Christian has a better grasp of reality in our present life, he also has a better hope. There is to be a substantial healing in every area of life on the basis of the teaching of the Bible. Every part of God's creation has value because God made it. A Christian shows something of beauty in his relations with fellow man and nature. Man is to be treated with dignity because he is made in the image of God. The world is able to see a Christian treats others with dignity, both Christians and non-Christians. 20th (and 21st) Century people do not expect Christians to be perfect but they do expect to see reality in them. Humanism and pantheism can't do this because to them man is nothing, a zero. For the Christian these sociological problems can only be corrected by men and women committing their lives to Jesus Christ, the son of God. Each generation must do it through their corporate living and show that healing is currently possible.
