There is no concept of 'Law' today because there is no sense of morals in today's society. Without an 'absolute' you cannot have true morals. Absolutes are as necessary today as in Aristotle's day. Without absolutes everything is arbitrary or just statistical averages. Everything today is relative. Thus modern man has no 'circle' of right and wrong to step into or out of. The Christian understands God's law or character from the Bible. There is a proper lawful circle for the Church, which is made up of people committed to Christ. Marriage also needs a proper or legal circle. Right and wrong was known from the days of Adam and Eve. Eve could step outside the circle of right and physically eat the forbidden fruit even though she knew the boundary lines. Genetic engineers may be in the same quandary though it has no legal circle or rules to protect it from chaos. Christians must be careful to stay in legal and moral circles based on the Bible and live with warm viable relationships. Obvious mutual loving care is demanded.
