The Beatles, like Bergman in the theatre of the absurd, had nothing of significant value to contribute or communicate. God was a manipulation. They show us what has occurred in past generations. It was all one song a high art form in its total unity of art. They also went in for Eastern mysticism in their quest. The Yellow Submarine is a romantic story. The script was written by Eric Seagal of Love Story fame which was sad because young people gave up hope. This was a different vehicle but the same message. It was unified in saying there is no hope. It is a divided field of knowledge and thus can't find the answer to life.
