Salvador Dali held a mystical Christianity. He could not fully deny that man is made in the image of God and at the same time wanted man to be just an energy particle. Energy is just as impersonal as a physical mass. This raises the question, 'Can any man live intellectually with his false presuppositions?' The dilemma is not in the system but in the selfishness of man. The Christian system answers all these questions by the sinfulness of man. Heidegger had this problem until age 70 and then took a mystical leap and said 'there is something there'. Language, which God created, gives you hope that there is meaning in life.
