The Difference Between Biblical Spirituality and Contemporary Spirituality

God has told us in the Bible how we may come to Him via commitment to him through the Christ who died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin and guilt. The last great scene of world drama is the existence of God himself and he has revealed himself to us through the Bible. True spirituality is a continual daily relationship with the God who really does exist. Man is becoming more and more animistic in worshiping creation itself rather than the Creator who created creation. Linguistic Analysis shows that without content and meaning words are meaningless. Spirituality without content and meaning is also meaningless. True Biblical spirituality rests on who God is and who I am. Because God is personal I, as a person, can have a relationship with him.
