Truth in An Age of Pluralism: Understanding Other Faiths

How well do you understand the world we live in and the various belief systems by which people live? In order for us (as well as our children) to be bright lights in this dark world, we need to know what we can expect to encounter when sharing the gospel with others. This session focuses on a fair and thorough examination of non-Christian belief systems. A vast plurality of religions exists today, especially in America, that Christians are ill-prepared to understand or discuss. Sam Youngs will help to counter this problem by providing information and insight on the beliefs, history, and modern-day implications of these other belief systems, while also emphasizing Christian charity in our dialogue with them.
